How to find the BPM of a song

  • Play the song and tap on every beat, usually where you would clap or nod your head.
  • Keep tapping for 8 to 10 beats: the result gets more accurate with every tap.
  • If the number feels twice too fast or slow, check the half-time and double-time values.
  • Press “Practice at this tempo” to open the metronome at the tempo you found.
